What's available now
Westminster City Council is now providing wireless networks in parts of the city, most recently Soho. They will offer a range of new services for consumers, businesses and local authority workers.
Provided by the council’s Wireless partner BT, the networks give wire-free, high-speed broadband coverage which can be used for easy access to information and services in city centre locations and underline the council’s strong commitment to regeneration and inward investment.
Available in the central and West End areas it allows people more flexibility to decide where and when they work, talk and play. People will be able to pay for services like BT Openzone and Fusion to allow them to remain connected to wireless services whilst on the move. They will also be able to access council services remotely, such as parking and licensing.
